These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply solely to transactions where the purchaser is acting as a consumer (business-to-consumer).

For business-to-business transactions, including the purchase of coffee machines, grinders, and other commercial equipment, separate terms and conditions apply. Please refer to the relevant Business-to-Business Terms of Sale available here.

1.0 Orders

1.1 Orders may be placed through our website by adding the required item(s) to the shopping cart and completing the checkout process.

1.2 Payment can be made securely through the payment options available at checkout, including credit/debit card and PayPal, where offered.

1.3 Where agreed by Jurang in advance, payment may also be made by BACS transfer following the issue of a pro forma invoice. To request this, please contact orders@jurang.co.uk.

1.4 If you experience any issue placing an order through our website, please contact us on 01172 640 126.

1.5 We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product images, descriptions and specifications on our website are accurate. However, images may be for illustrative purposes only and the final product supplied may vary slightly in appearance, provided it remains materially as described. If you are unsure about any product detail, please contact us before placing your order.

1.6 We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order before dispatch where reasonably necessary, including where an item is unavailable, payment has not been received, there has been an obvious pricing or description error, or we are unable to fulfil the order. If this occurs, we will notify you and refund any payment already received.

1.7 If a product has been listed with an incorrect price, description or specification due to an error, we are not obliged to supply the product at the incorrect price or on the incorrect terms. We will contact you to explain the error and offer you the option to proceed at the correct price/details or cancel the order for a full refund.


2.0 Stock Availability

2.1 Whilst we make reasonable efforts to ensure that stock availability displayed on our website is accurate, stock levels may not always be up to date.

2.2 Due to the nature of our business and demand from commercial customers, products may occasionally become unavailable after an order has been placed.

2.3 In the event that an item is out of stock, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to advise on expected availability. If there is a delay, you can proceed with the order, accept a revised delivery timeframe, or cancel the order for a full refund.

3.0 Best Price Online

3.1 Jurang's 'Best Price Online' promise applies only to products clearly marked with 'Price Promise' on the relevant product page.

3.2 The promise applies where a lower price is publicly advertised by a UK-based retailer for an identical product that is in stock and available for immediate purchase under comparable terms.

3.3 For a price to qualify, the competing offer must be on a like-for-like basis, including the same brand, model, specification, condition (new), package contents, warranty and delivery terms.

3.4 Prices will not be matched where the competing offer includes additional or hidden costs, including but not limited to delivery charges, surcharges, or conditional pricing that results in a higher total payable amount.

3.5 The 'Best Price Online' promise does not apply to:
(a) auction sites (including eBay), marketplaces, or third-party sellers;
(b) used, refurbished, graded or B-stock items;
(c) clearance, liquidation or distress sales;
(d) pricing errors or misprints by other retailers.

3.6 Customers must provide verifiable evidence of the competing offer, including a valid link or written quotation, at the time of request.

3.7 All price match requests are subject to verification and approval by Jurang, and we reserve the right to refuse any request that does not meet the above criteria.


4.0 Delivery Information

4.1 Standard delivery to UK mainland addresses is charged at £4.79 + VAT. Orders over £60.00 (ex. VAT) qualify for free standard delivery.

4.2 Deliveries to addresses outside the UK mainland may incur additional charges and extended delivery times. Delivery timeframes for these locations are not guaranteed. We recommend contacting us prior to placing an order to confirm applicable charges and estimated delivery times.

4.3 Orders placed before 14:00 (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) are typically dispatched the same working day for next working day delivery. Orders placed after this time will be processed on the next working day.

4.4 Where a mobile number is provided, delivery notifications may be issued by the courier, including estimated delivery time windows. These notifications are provided by the courier and are not guaranteed.

4.5 Any delivery dates or timeframes provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Whilst we make reasonable efforts to meet the stated delivery times, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including courier issues. Jurang shall not be liable for any loss arising from delivery delays.

4.6 We reserve the right to use alternative delivery methods or couriers where necessary to fulfil your order.


5.0 Returns & Refunds

5.1 Right to Cancel: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods. To exercise this right, you must notify us within this 14-day period. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you must return the goods within 14 days. If you do not notify us of your intention to cancel within this 14-day period, your right to cancel under these regulations will expire, and we will not be obliged to accept a return unless the goods are faulty or damaged.

5.2 Condition of Returned Goods: You are entitled to inspect the goods as you would in a retail environment. However, if the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund to reflect any loss in value. Items should be returned with their original packaging where reasonably possible.

5.3 Return Process: To initiate a return, you must contact us at support@jurang.co.uk to obtain return authorisation and instructions. We reserve the right to refuse returns that are sent without prior authorisation. Returns must be securely packaged and returned in a manner that prevents damage in transit.

5.4 Return Costs: For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods. If the goods are faulty or damaged, we will cover the costs of returning them.

5.5 Refunds: Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. We will process any refund due within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that the goods have been returned. In practice, refunds are usually processed within 1 working day of receipt of the returned goods; however, this timeframe is not guaranteed and may vary depending on the payment provider.

5.6 Non-Returnable Items: The following items are not eligible for return unless faulty:

  • Opened or used consumable products (including coffee and cleaning products)
  • Custom-made or special-order items
  • Items clearly marked as non-returnable

5.7 Faulty or Misdescribed Goods: If goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described, your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the circumstances. We reserve the right to inspect and verify any reported fault.


6.0 Damaged Goods

6.1 If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible by emailing support@jurang.co.uk.

6.2 We will arrange a suitable resolution, which may include replacement, repair, or refund.


7.0 Missing Items

7.1 You must notify us of any missing items within 48 hours of delivery.

7.2 This timeframe is required to allow us to investigate the issue with the courier while delivery records and tracking information remain available.

7.3 If you fail to notify us within this 48-hour period, we reserve the right to decline or limit any claim for missing items where this delay has prevented us from verifying the issue with the courier or obtaining supporting evidence.
