Jurang is a distinctive washed coffee hailing from the Rwenzori region in western Uganda, cultivated by dedicated smallholder farmers who balance coffee production with other essential food crops.
For these farmers, coffee farming plays a crucial role, providing income to support their families, particularly helping to cover school fees for their children.
The coffee cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness and then processed meticulously by farmers using hand-operated pulpers. The resulting 'parchment' is dried naturally under the sun, turned regularly to ensure consistent drying.
Once fully dried, the coffee parchment is transported to the Agri Evolve coffee factory for a careful quality assessment.
Our House Blend brings together coffees from Brazil, Uganda, and Ethiopia to create a balanced, approachable espresso with depth and character.
This 1kg bag of 100% Arabica beans is carefully sourced and roasted to deliver consistency, clarity, and everyday drinkability.
