Backflush Cleaning

These E16 tablets by Urnex Cafiza offer superb flexibility with espresso machines and can be used to perform backflush cleaning.

Urnex CAFIZA E16 Cleaning Tabs 1.2g Instructions

For use on Automatic Espresso Machines

Insert one E16 Cafiza Espresso Cleaning Tablet into the machine opening and follow the ‘Maintenance and Cleaning' instructions as per your machine.

For use on Traditional Espresso Machines

• Insert blind filter in the portafilter and add 1 x E16 Cafiza tablet.
• Insert portafilter into the group head and activate the brew cycle for 10 seconds.
• Stop for 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times and remove the portafilter.
• Activate brew cycle and rinse portafilter in a stream of water from the group head. Stop cycle.
• Insert portafilter into group head. Activate the brew cycle for 10 seconds. Stop for 10 seconds.
• Repeat 5 times.
• Make and discard a cup of espresso to ensure no residue remains.
