We recommend you use only Jura products in your Jura bean-to-cup machine. JURA has created a 2-phase descaling tablet designed to both gently remove scale and protect your coffee machine, extending its service life.
When water is heated, limescale forms. As it builds up, it narrows pipes, slowing the heating process and increasing energy consumption. Over time, this can even lead to machine failure. Limescale also negatively impacts coffee quality. While a small amount of calcium carbonate enhances flavor, excess amounts give water an unpleasant aftertaste and inhibit the proper release of coffee aromas, partly due to inconsistent water temperatures.
